Christopher Raphael is a professional international photographer specialising in unit stills, portraits and gallery shoots for film and television productions.

Working with film studios such as Warner Bros’, Sony, Disney, Universal, MGM, EON, Lionsgate, STX, Amazon, Netflix, Apple and more.

With his first film camera at age 14, there were no doubts about his chosen profession. Chris started his career as a sports photographer, winning awards at a young age covering international events from the Olympics to Formula 1 racing. After five years in sports, he switched to freelancing, working with London’s top portrait and studio photographers. With a love for film, a passion for movie stills, a portfolio of portraits and a history of sports action, the combination lent itself perfectly to on-set unit photography.

Chris’ initiation into the film industry began when he was asked by a producer to cover unit stills for the film ‘Revolver’ directed by Guy Ritchie with Ray Liotta and Jason Statham. Luc Besson was also producing a film the same year (2006) where Chris went on to cover the unit stills. Experiencing the level of professionalism, skill and photographic dynamic within the film industry Chris was hooked. Nearly two decades later as a unit photographer covering the last three 007 James Bond films  “Within all fields of photography it doesn’t get better than film unit stills”.
